Whenever the word computer virus comes to find our mind we usually fear it and the thoughts of those PC crashes, those Blue Screen of Deaths comes to our mind but have you ever wondered that you could develop a virus or a rather virus appearing file to fool your friends or colleagues to see their tense faces as they restart their PCs only to know everything is okay. I am back with a funky trick to do so & promise there is no rocket science involved.
Let’s begin, please follow the steps to successfully design your funky virus. Make sure you do this on your friends PC and he is not behind your back or you may get a kick in your a**.
Now what you need to do is right-click on your friends desktop and select new > shortcut>in the windows that appears type the following shutdown –s –t 60 –c “virus detected. I am shutting down bcoz you did not allow me to smoke last night” Instead of 60 you can give any value that you want it represents the time in seconds after which the computer will shutdown also you can put any funky comment inside the quotes that will be displayed. Now before you proceed to next step you need to delete the my computer icon from the desktop. Now back to the shortcut dialog box, name your icon as my computer and click finish. Now you will have the icon on your desktop right click on it and select properties go to the shortcut tab and select change icon now choose a icon that looks more or less same as the my computer icon which was previously on the desktop and click on ok. Now place the icon where the my computer icon was previously displayed.
Now the fun begins whenever your friend will try to double click and open my computer the following type of box will be shown and the system will shut down after the number of seconds you selected earlier.
The only way to stop the computer from shutting down is to go to start>run> and type shutdown –a and press ENTER.
