This is a cool trick to surf the net on your airtel phone without being charged a single penny. But you cannot download anything, just surfing (certain pay sites cannot be surfed).

YOU NEED TO HAVE ZERO BALANCE IN YOUR CELLPHONE!!

First activate GPRS on your airtel phone by calling 121 and talk to the customer care executive and ask him to activate your GPRS<< its free >>
Then create a new web account on your phone from settings>>configuration in your Nokia phone. The setting should have the following details:
homepage>> http://www.google.co.in
Access Point>> airtelfun.com
Prosy>> 100.1.200.99
Proxy port>> 8080
username>> "leave it blank"
password>> "leave it blank"

(if you are having problem regarding creating a web account in your cellphone you can drop a question at the forums)

Then access the homepage i.e. google and then search for anything you wish and click on the results to view it without being charged.

The Big War Windows 7 vs Windows Vista vs Windows XP

“Windows 7 will be vista but a whole lot better.”
I still remember those words by Mr. Steve Ballmer, CEO Microsoft said in the ITxpo.
While Windows 7 has only now launched, it barely feels like that. This time Microsoft has involved testers in such an extensive way, that for many people Windows 7 is already a familiar experience, after all, it has been around for nearly a year.

Windows 7 has changed little since its first beta release back in January 2009, which is all the more remarkable as it means that the operating system was nearly done by then. They have abandoned the search for a clever name, and gone for a clever operating system instead!

The biggest advantage of the extended public beta testing period of Windows 7 has been to the people who "tested" it, and essentially got a free licensed version of Windows for a year. However a lot of the feedback and bugs discovered during the beta period of Windows 7 was actually accommodated into Release Candidate which came afterwards.

While Windows 7 is essentially a minor update to Windows Vista, it has some significant and positive changes which have turned the utter failure of Vista to the critical acclaim it has received. Nearly every version of Windows has been considered to be too bloated for its time, and for the very first time, we have a version of windows which can run on a lower configuration than its predecessor!

I decide to do a full on test on Windows 7 VS. Windows Vista VS. Windows XP and here are the Test results.

This is a short c program which shows the working and infecting procedure of a virus. This program demonstrates a simple virus program which upon execution (Running) creates a copy of itself in the other file.Thus it destroys other files by infecting them. But the virus infected file is also capable of spreading the infection to another file and so on.Here’s the code of the virus program.

COMPILING METHOD:

BORLAND TC++ 3.0 (16-BIT):

1. Load the program in the compiler, press Alt-F9 to compile

2. Press F9 to generate the EXE file (DO NOT PRESS CTRL-F9,THIS WILL INFECT ALL THE FILES IN CUR DIRECTORY INCLUDIN YOUR COMPILER)

3. Note down the size of generated EXE file in bytes (SEE EXE FILE PROPERTIES FOR IT’S SIZE)

4. Change the value of X in the source code with the noted down size (IN THE ABOVE SOURCE CODE x= 89088; CHANGE IT)

5. Once again follow the STEP 1 & STEP 2.Now the generated EXE File is ready to infect

BORLAND C++ 5.5 (32-BIT) :

1. Compile once,note down the generated EXE file length in bytes

2. Change the value of X in source code to this length in bytes

3. Recompile it.The new EXE file is ready to infect

HOW TO TEST:

1. Open new empty folder

2. Put some EXE files (BY SEARCHING FOR *.EXE IN SEARCH & PASTING IN THE NEW FOLDER)

3. Run the virus EXE file there you will see all the files in the current directory get infected.

4.All the infected files will be ready to reinfect

Compiling C Programs

In a few new tutorials that i am gonna write I will showing out how to create a few viruses. I will be using mostly C++ Programming language to do it bcoz I am more or less familiar with it. So if you guys also want to create those stuffs you should have a basic knowledge about c++ or atleast should know how to compile a c Program.

How to install Borland C++ compiler
1. Download Borland C++ compiler 5.5 (for Windows platform) from the following link.

2. After you download, run freecommandlinetools.exe. The default installation path would be

C:\Borland\BCC55

How to configure Borland C++ compiler
1. After you install Borland C++ compier, create two new Text Documents

2. Open the first New Text Document.txt file and add the following two lines into it

-I”c:\Borland\Bcc55\include”

-L”c:\Borland\Bcc55\lib”

Save changes and close the file. Now rename the file from New Text Document.txt to bcc32.cfg.

3. Open the second New Text Document (2).txt file and add the following line into it

-L”c:\Borland\Bcc55\lib”

Save changes and close the file. Now rename the file from New Text Document (2).txt to ilink32.cfg.

4. Now copy the two files bcc32.cfg and ilink32.cfg, navigate to C:\Borland\BCC55\Bin and paste them.

How to compile the C source code (.C files)
1. You need to place the .C (example.c) file to be compiled in the following location

C:\Borland\BCC55\Bin

2. Now goto command prompt (Start->Run->type cmd->Enter)

3. Make the following path as the present working directory (use CD command)

C:\Borland\BCC55\Bin

4. To compile the file (example.c) use the following command

bcc32 example.c

5. Now if there exists no error in the source code you’ll get an executable file (example.exe) in the same location (C:\Borland\BCC55\Bin).

6. Now you have successfully compiled the source code into an executable file(.exe file).

NOTE: The above tutorial assumes that you’ve installed the compiler onto the C: drive (by default).

BUT AFTER YOU PLUG IT ON, THE SIMILARITY WITH OTHER 2.1 SYSTEMS END. INSTALLING IT IS A BREEZE NO TECH-KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED. YOU JUST PLUGIN THE ONE SINGLE 3.5MM RCA CABLE WHICH IS GREEN IN COLOUR INTO YOUR PC’s SPEAKER SLOT AND THEN CONNECT THE POWER CABLE. ONE SPEAKER IS CONNECTED TO THE SUBWOOFER AND IS NOT DETACHABLE AND THE OTHER IS CONNECTED TO THE SUB-WOOFER WITH A DETACHABLE CABLE. THE BUILD QUALITY IS EXCELLENT. THE SUB-WOOFER IS A 25*15.5 CM WOODEN CUBE WITH TWO BASS OUTLETS, ONE ON THE FRONT AND THE OTHER ON THE SIDE. THE BASS DELIVERED BY THIS SYSTEM IS EXTREME. THE GLOSSY BLACK SATELLITES ARE SLIM AND COVERED WITH A BLACK MESH. THE WOOFER DELIVERS AN EXCELLENT AND DEEP BASS AND THE SATELLITES ARE AN EXPERT IN PRODUCING MID-RANGE AND HIGH FREQUENCIES. THE SOUND BEGINS TO DISTORT ONLY ON INCREASING THE VOLUME LEVEL ABOVE 85%. BUT AT RS.1,489 THIS SYSTEM IS WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY. IT ALSO DELIVERS AN OUTPIT OF 21 RMS. ANY MUSIC LOVER AND CASUAL GAMERS READING THIS JUST GO FOR THIS KINDA COOL SYSTEM.

WINDOWS 7

It’s no secret; vista has been a complete disaster since its first launch. Microsoft is trying hard to lure millions of XP users with a whole new experience of a new & better OS. Although times are not favorable for Microsoft with new flavors of Linux and OS X leaping ahead with time, Microsoft needs to do some kudos miracle. I managed to use one of the early pre-beta versions on windows 7, to be more specific I used Windows 7 ultimate (build-6801) version. Although the
release date claimed by Microsoft is in the mid 2010 but with high expectations running we might be able to see a late 2099 release for win 7. Who knows? May be it will be New Year gift from Microsoft to all XP-phobic fans. Here is an exclusive look at the os we all might upgrade to next year. In plain words what I experienced was that windows 7 was a lot faster and stable than vista. Microsoft seemed to have reduced the windows 7 boot time significantly by turning off many rather useless services. Mr. Steve Ballmer, CEO Microsoft said in the ITxpo, Orlando that-“Windows 7 will be vista but a whole lot better.”

PERFORMANCE:-
Inspite of the fact that windows seven is being built on the same base code as that of vista, team
Microsoft is trying hard to speed-up the boot time and in turn reduce the number of startup services.The OS has also been designed to be able to take advantage of newer technologies such as solid state dives (SSDs). We can only keep our fingers crossed and hope that those improvements will be better than the improvements that windows vista service pack 1 provided us. But I found a significant problem with the build that I tested, after installing windows 7 everything worked fine and there were no BSODs,but after using it for 4-5 days windows was unable to find the driver for both of my ATAPI DVD-RW driver for neither of my drives. I tried hard to somehow feed into it the driver but the only solution I had was to download the driver from the net and for people who do not have access to the web will be having just one option left i.e. to reinstall windows. But again after installing the driver and using the OS for 7-8 days again the same problem persisted, but last time I had backed up the driver in mu pen-drive
and so I could install it again. But I am sure that this problem has already been solved by the time you read this.

INTERFACE:-
In one of the few early public demonstrations of windows 7, Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer, showed off or rather boasted about its use of multitouch technology similar to that of Microsoft’s surface table computer. The windows taskbar is completely redesigned. There are no tabs with text-labels of the program running, instead the applications are docked as icons and are visible even when they are not running. This behavior mimics that of OS x dock to an extent but is more confusing because it duplicates the function of the quick launch bar which is still next to it, also a niche feature is that dragging a window to either side of the screen makes a vertical tile half the screen wide and dragging a windows towards or away from the top of the screen minimizes or restores it. The sidebar is gone and gadgets can sit anywhere. The display properties dialog box is totally refreshed with a new theme chooser and options for sound. Also the ribbon interface that made its debut in office 2007 will be a feature of many windows 7 apps. Such as the WordPad, paint, etc.

APPLICATIONS:-
Many traditional windows accessories and apps that were bundled in vista such as windows mail,
windows DVD maker, Windows movie maker, etc. will not be available in the standard windows 7
installation instead users have an option of downloading web-based windows live apps. But Microsoft should have included the simple and easy to use windows movie maker for budding editors. Windows media player moves up to version 12. A semi-transparent screen with overlaid controls is easier to use, with improved high-def codec support. The new [win]+[tab] shortcut allows user to toggle between projector and secondary display. A all new application is the windows power shell v2 which is a command line scripting interface designed to help with system administration. The control panel has been reorganized. The new default view is laid out quite logically, but the complete list of options is large enough to drive anyone insane. The explorer has a cleaner overall look. The humble calculator gains a unit converter, statistics helper and can also help out with loan payments and fuel mileage.

FINAL WORDS:-
With Windows vista not being one of the most successful chapter in Microsoft’s history, no matter whatever the hell of magic is done to vista it would remain vista. So, all you XP users out there thinking of upgrading to Vista wait for a few more months and upgrade to windows seven, I am, pretty much sure that it will prove to be a good bet for you.
